<isc:description><![CDATA[The Underground Plastic TankThe underground plastic tank is a great way to store your water in below ground locations such as around your home, building, or industrial facility. Unlike steel, the polyethylene tanks hold a high resistance to rust and corrosion so you can have long-lasting water storage. All underground tanks typically feature:Ribbed Exterior: This ribbed design helps the tank to hold up to underground conditions and provides a stable exterior for your water storage. One or Two Compartment ModelsWatertight Lid: This helps to safely keep your liquid materials inside the tank. This serves the dual purpose of protecting stored contents, while also preventing liquids from seeping into the underground locations. When dealing with different types of water storage, there are a couple of different below ground tanks you can consider, including the standard Plastic Underground Tank and the Bruiser. Standard Plastic Below Ground TankThe Standard Plastic Below Ground Tank is a common choice for use as rainwater collection tanks, gray water storage and drinking water storage. Their interiors are designed to feature an FDA approved resin to safely hold your potable water. The Bruiser TankVery similar in design and structure is the Plastic Bruiser Tank. This underground tank has been used to store anything from septic fluids to underground water. Its ribbed exterior and water tight lids create a solid structure for storing these types of liquids. When compared to the standard underground plastic tank, the Bruiser offers two distinct advantages. No Water Required During Backfill: The Bruiser tank is designed as a durable unit and requires no water during the backfilling of the tank. Native Soils: As opposed to some underground tank, the Bruiser can be backfilled with only native or surrounding soils. Other underground tanks may require mixtures specifically composed of gravel and/or sand. Regardless of which underground plastic tank you choose, these units can be used in a wide range of applications including:Drinking Water StorageRainwater CollectionGray Water StorageSeptic Storage (Bruiser or Septic Tank)Water Supply for Toilets & Utilities]]></isc:description>

<isc:description><![CDATA[Choosing a Plastic Mobile TankMobile Water Tanks, Spray Tanks and MorePortable liquid and water storage tanks come in a variety of different sizes, shapes, and styles to help match different applications. When choosing a mobile storage unit, typically low-profile and horizontal tanks are ideal as their design gives them a lower center of gravity for easy movement around locations. As a quick overview, please feel free to browse through the tank offerings listed below to find the style and/or shape that can work best for you and your liquid storage needs. Tanks for TractorsHorizontal Sump Bottom Tanks: When looking for portable liquid storage, a horizontal sump bottom tank can be a great choice. These tanks feature the same standard low profile, round tank design and contain additional bottom sumps to allow liquid to effectively be drained from the tank. Tanks typically feature grooves for holding bands and are perfect for installation on tractors, skids, and other portable vehicles. Elliptical Tanks: Our elliptical plastic tanks feature a similar low-profile design and elliptical shape for increased stabilization. They are equally equipped with molded band grooves for increased stabilization and are often placed on either the sides or fronts of trailers for use in spraying or watering applications. Side Mount Tanks: For specific liquid storage on the sides of tractors and trailers, side mount tanks can be a great choice. These tanks are designed in a tear drop shape that allows them to fit neatly onto the sides of tractors during agricultural applications. Tanks for Pickup TrucksPickup Truck Tank: One of the most commonly used tanks in the back of pickup trucks and ATV’s is the low profile pickup truck tank. This tank has a unique profile and design that allows it to remain self-supporting and stable during transportation. It additionally features a lower profile so you can still maintain vision while driving these tanks around. Horizontal Leg Tanks: Customers have also chose items such as the horizontal leg tank for transportation on pickup trucks and other vehicles. One of the major benefits to these tanks is their ability to remain self-supporting removing the essential need for saddles, bands, or skids. These legs are molded into the tank for complete reliability. Similar to all our other plastic tanks, these units are made from the polyethylene material that gives the tank a high resistance to rust, corrosion, and several chemicals. Some of the most common applications where you can find these tanks being used include: Drinking Water TransportationFertilizing ApplicationsSpray TanksWatering TanksEmergency Liquid Transportation]]></isc:description>

<isc:description><![CDATA[When browsing through our site, many customers have questions concerning the color or material used for these tanks. As a general guideline, here is a brief explanation of these materials and color uses:Polyethylene: Linear polyethylene is the standard material used on a majority of the plastic tanks on our site. Polyethylene is a highly durable material that is resistant to a wide range of chemicals, rust and corrosion. In addition, this material also has a high resistance to impact and environmental stress crack. One of the major advantages of polyethylene is its ability to be welded. Unlike many other hard plastic materials, linear polyethylene is flexible during construction and frequently allows for welding of fittings into the sides, tops, and surrounding areas of the tank. This can be especially important if you require a tank with fittings, as they can be easily customized into your storage tank. Polypropylene: The second major material used on these tanks is firm polypropylene. When compared to polyethylene, this material features an extremely high operating temperature that allows it to deal with liquids or chemicals that are high in weight or temperature. This material also has a high stress crack resistance for demanding area conditions. It is not, however, recommended for low or sub-freezing temperatures. FRP Encased: A few of our tank contain a polyethylene or polypropylene tank that has been encased in a fiberglass reinforced polyester shell. This helps to increase the level of stability on your tank so it is completely self-supporting. This type of encasement is commonly seen in our large open top cylindrical or rectangular tanks where tanks would not be self-supporting without the help of a stand. Color Options:Many of our plastic tanks are also available in a variety of different colors. Choosing the correct color can depend on preference or on the type of liquid you need to store. Typically if you will be storing water in an outdoor location, a darker color such as green or black would be the best choice. These colors work to block out light, which helps prevent the growth of algae inside the tank. ]]></isc:description>
